In the coming weeks before Christmas, we wish to form a small group to research existing government and civilian organizations to come up with a comprehensive listing of services and benefits for our soldiers and their families. When this task is complete, we will need input from our community as to what is needed for the troops and their families that hasn't been provided for elsewhere. Some of the ideas that have been brought up so far are;

- Organizing community support functions to recognise our troops BEFORE they are deployed. Our community should know each and every man and woman who serves!
- Providing a community website where our local troops can communicate via webcam or e-mail with the folks back home.
- Collecting and sending needed supplies and equipment that are not available through normal channels.
- Providing a central support team to direct our servicemembers to other organizations who provide support
